The Professional Pilot Leadership Initiative (PPLI) application window for the spring session is open now through January 31, 2015.

What is the PPLI? The PPLI is a three phase, structured mentoring program that aims to accelerate the advancement of women in all pilot professions, facilitate mentoring, and enhance our leadership role in the aviation community.

Who should apply? Highly motivated 99s who have at least started their commercial pilot training can apply. If you are working on advanced ratings, looking for a career move, advancing your career with a current or future employer, preparing for an upgrade, or recovering from a setback, then it’s time to consider this program.

How does it work? The participant, or Captain, is in charge.  The mentor, or Navigator, helps guide her as she sets and works toward professional and leadership goals. Through guided activities and formal mentoring partnerships, it strengthens and expands the network of women pilots.
