Manitoba Chapter Awards 2014 Scholarship

This year’s scholarship was awarded to Amy Johnson. 

Amy’s first flying experience was when she was 10 years old on a Young Eagles flight. While still too young to fly, she volunteered at aviation events.  In the summer of 2013 she started flying lessons, soloed on her 17th birthday and obtained her Private Pilot license in October.

Amy plans to apply the scholarship to advanced flight training. Her dream is to become a commercial pilot.  All the best Amy!
