It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the passing of Sue Ehrlander

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the passing of Sue Ehrlander, a lifetime member of The Ninety-Nines and a cherished member of the Atlantic Chapter. Sue passed away last Thursday, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, passion, and kindness that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Throughout her many years as a member, Sue served in numerous roles within The Ninety-Nines, always with unwavering commitment and a spirit of camaraderie. Beyond her contributions to aviation, Sue was a tireless advocate for causes that extended well beyond the skies. Her compassion and dedication to making a difference were an inspiration to us all.

As we remember Sue, we reflect on the words of Amelia Earhart:

“A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees.”

Sue’s life was a testament to this truth, as her kindness and dedication planted seeds that will continue to grow in the hearts of those she touched.

Please keep Sue’s family, friends, and fellow chapter members in your thoughts during this time.

You can read the family obituary for Sue and get the information about this Saturday’s service here. It will be live-streamed.
