300-400 female pilots from around the world descended on Ottawa for the 2016 International Conference.

What a great week of meeting up with old friends, attending the forums and banquets and cheering for the winners of the scholarships!

There was a good turnout of members from the East Canada Section and from our chapter. Everyone chipped in to volunteer under the leadership of the conference organizer, our FCC member Joy Parker-Blackwood. She did a tremendous job putting this together with her team of amazingly talented people.

If you have never been to an international 99s conference, I highly recommend you try to attend the one next year in San Antonio Texas.
