Join your sister 99s IN PERSON when we gather in an historic region of Canada. The Town of Harbour Grace is generously hosting events to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Amelia Earhart’s departure from the airfield on her transatlantic flight. On Friday May 20 in the afternoon, there will be a celebration at the airfield , then a reception on Friday evening and a Lobster Boil on Saturday evening! Members of the 99s are welcome to bring a family member or a friend to those events.

Thursday May 19:  Arrive at St. John’s Airport (CYYT) 

Hotel check-in , DoubleTree by Hilton St. John’s Harbourview

7:00 p.m. Reception, Crow’s Nest Officer’s Club

Friday May 20: Morning travel from St. John’s to Harbour Grace 

Hotel/Motel check-in. Lunch at Hotel Harbour Grace

Afternoon celebration at Harbour Grace Airfield – CHG2 -and museum.

Evening Meet & Greet the people of Harbour Grace at the court house.

Saturday May 21: Morning 99s ECS Annual Meeting (members only) 

Continental Breakfast for meeting attendees, Danny Cleary Arena, Harbour Grace. Note: Meeting is hybrid in-person/Zoom 

Morning (Friends & Family), local entertainment, trivia contest 

Afternoon Lunch at The Brewery, Dildo NL

Evening Lobster Boil in Harbour Grace 

Sunday, May 22: Morning return to St. John’s airport for departure

Register by March 26; Fee $99 per person includes food at events (except Saturday lunch at the brewery), and all activities. Note: Not sure of hotel & flight info yet? You can update your information after registering. Instructions on registration form.

Transportation is separate, carpool groups will be formed from those indicating they require transportation. If you can offer transportation, gas will be reimbursed.
