The East Canada Section is closing out 2020 on a positive note.
We’ve seen in the past year our members reaching out their hands to help and support each other.
Many of our members are furloughed from their flying job, but are staying resilient by taking post-grad level courses, they’re taking multiple jobs to pay their rent.
Our members and the East Canada Section have helped those struggling financially by covering their membership fees in the 99s.
We had one member offer to help the student pilots in her Chapter via zoom. Chapters held zoom get-togethers to reach out and stay connected with each other.
We made it through this year and as the E-editor of Skies Magazine said,”good riddance”, I look forward to a much better new year.
